A perfect family holiday
The Long House at Coombe Farm is our beautiful traditional Devon farm house. The property sleeps 12 people comfortably and is perfect for a multi-family holiday. The space includes 4 en-suite rooms and a further 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom. For the month of August only we will be letting the whole house out, on a weekly basis with Sunday changeovers.
Coombe Farm is situated in a peaceful valley and is a perfect place for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The Long House is adjacent to our Stables barn conversion that will also be let out during the August summer period. In consideration of other guests staying in the Stables, we ask that evening noise is kept to a minimum.
Well behaved dogs are welcome however we do ask guests to ensure that dogs are not permitted on the furniture/beds and that they are kept on leads when around the livestock on the farm. Children, are also welcome. The Farm has lots of corners to explore – woods, a stream, rope swings, a swimming pool (unheated and shared with the Stables), trees to climb…and WiFi.
The house has 6 bedrooms as follows:
The Green room - a ground floor super king / twin with en-suite wet room
The Blue room - super king / twin with en-suite bathroom and shower
The Cloud room - king size with en-suite bathroom and shower
The Apex room - king size with en-suite bathroom and shower
The Book room - king size with shared bathroom and shower
The Kid's room - twin bunk beds with sink and shared bathroom and shower
We use high thread count pure cotton bedding and down, merino or silk duvets.
Downstairs there is a boot room with plenty of space for everyone's gear; a sitting room with comfortable seating for 12; a fully equipped kitchen with seating for 6; a dining room with seating for 12 and a sofa; a laundry and a toilet.
Guests will also have access to a private secure lock-up for bikes, surfboards etc. In addition to all the private comforts of The Long House, you are also free to roam the farm. You can stroll to meet the pigs and chickens, swim in the pool, enjoy the gardens, sit by the stream, or picnic on the lawns. It is only a short stroll through the woods along the public footpath that runs through the farm to the village of Goodleigh where you will find the New Inn (www.newinngoodleigh.co.uk). Justin and Julia are wonderful hosts and serve magnificent food. Reservations are a must.

Booking Policy
Check in time is 4pm, check out time is 10am.
When you book we will invoice you for a 25% deposit to secure your booking and the balance will be payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
Cancellations made 6weeks or more prior to arrival will be refunded in full. Cancellations less than 6 weeks before arrival will not be refunded. For cancellations within 6 weeks of arrival, we can re-list the space on AirBnB. Should we be successful in locating new guests, we will refund you the net amount we receive from the new letting. Having said that, it can be difficult to successfully let a property of this size at short notice. Hence the long cancellation notice period. We reserve the right not issue a refund within the 6 week cancellation period.
We will take a £500 security deposit to cover damages, refundable upon departure.
